BALANCER SHAFT

Balancer shafts are used to improve the NVH behavior of engines by countering mass forces and torques of the crank drive with targeted compensatory imbalances. The use of rolling bearings leads to less friction loss than a comparable plain bearing. Upon request, Hirschvogel can also take on design responsibility, including all validations and tests. Extensive simulation options guarantee a weight-optimized design, taking into account forgeability in large-series production.
