ROTOR SHAFT

The rotor shaft forms the heart of the electric motor. High demands are placed on rotor shafts, among other things in terms of transmittable torque, run-out and technical cleanliness. As a supplier from the outset, Hirschvogel can draw on longstanding experience and a wide range of production processes.

With our process know-how, we support our customers right from the design phase in order to find the optimum solution through a suitable combination of forging and machining. Thanks to our early involvement as a development partner, we are able to save weight and integrate functions such as internal rotor cooling.

For the connection of the rotor shaft to the reduction gear, we can now offer all common spline or gear types in a ready-for-assembly design. This applies to both internal and external splines as well as gears directly on the rotor shaft.
