DIESEL INJECTOR BODY

In diesel engines, the injectors inject the fuel into the combustion chamber at a pressure of up to 2,700 bar. The housing of the injector, referred to as the injector body, is thereby subjected to a constant pulsating load. Forged injector bodies, with their uninterrupted fiber flow, ensure a high fatigue life. Hirschvogel produces diesel injector bodies for passenger cars and trucks on highly productive, fully automated lines in large quantities (> 25 million per year).
