This is what our customers think

Dialog with our customers also encompasses the two-yearly Satisfaction Survey conducted worldwide. In 2022, a total of 243 customers took part. Many thanks for this!

 

The survey is an important tool for us to find out what moves our customers and where we can offer them innovative solutions through proactive technical developments and process improvements.

 

The comparison with the last survey in 2020 shows that we are on the right track, with our performance in 2022 demonstrating an upward trend. And that’s not all: We were also rated significantly better than our competitors in all criteria. This pleases us greatly. We see the survey as both an incentive and an obligation to further expand our potential and strengths.

What is important when awarding a contract?

In 2022, we also asked questions about the current situation and on the topic of sustainability. We wanted to know how important sustainability is for our customer base and what role it plays in the awarding of contracts compared to factors such as the lowest price or the financial strength of the supplier. Although sustainability was generally rated as very important, it is still the lowest price that seems to be the decisive factor for awarding contracts. Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic that continued through 2022, many of our customers began to increasingly focus on the issues of “crisis-proof suppliers” and “short supply routes”.

How is the global political situation affecting the various economic regions?

We were also interested in whether the dynamic global political situation has an impact on the individual economic regions of the world. From our customers’ standpoint, Western Europe surpassed China in 2022 as the most important market. Mexico and the USA are also gaining in importance. However, there is declining interest in Brazil and South America (excluding Mexico).

Supporting a social project to say thank you

Our Customer Satisfaction Survey is conducted every two years and is aimed at a partially different base of respondents each time. The fact that the responses nevertheless show a high degree of congruence with regard to trends affirms their validity. We will build on the results and are looking forward to seeing how the economic environment and the assessment given by our customers will change between now and the next survey in 2024.

 

We are delighted that there was once again such lively participation in the survey, and that this enabled us to donate a sum of €1,270 to a social project. We once again selected the aid organization humedica e. V. in Kaufbeuren. Their aim is to help people who are in need due to catastrophes or structural poverty. We are very happy to be able to provide support here.
