TRANSMISSION SHAFT PASSENGER CAR

Hirschvogel is one of the largest manufacturers of forged transmission shafts and a longstanding partner to a multitude of renowned transmission and automotive manufacturers. While our transmission shafts are mainly used in dual-clutch transmissions (DCT) and torque converter automatic transmissions, they also find application in manual and continuously variable transmissions (CVT) as well.

Production takes place at all Hirschvogel plants worldwide, allowing us to produce locally for our customers. Furthermore, we employ different forging technologies or combine them with machining processes. Hirschvogel is a specialist in the production of forged hollow shafts. On the one hand, the forging process is considerably more efficient than pure machining. On the other hand, it is only by combining forging and machining processes that some internal geometries are possible at all.
