WHEEL HUB

The wheel hub is used to hold and center the wheel and brake disk. It ensures stable positioning of the wheel in all driving situations and, in the case of driven axles, it also transmits the drive torque. The wheel hub thus fulfills an important, safety-relevant function. At the same time, this component, as an unsprung mass, should also be as lightweight as possible. Hirschvogel offers parts that are optimized in terms of material and geometry, combining stringent safety and lightweighting requirements. The spectrum ranges from cost-efficient wheel hubs for volume vehicles to extremely weight-optimized wheel hubs for sports cars. Depending on the wheel bearing generation, Hirschvogel supplies the components as a raw part or in the ready-for-assembly state.
