Open Day to Mark 75th Company Anniversary

Denklingen - On Saturday, June 15, 2013, an Open Day took place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to mark the 75th anniversary of the company Hirschvogel. Around 9,000 visitors took the opportunity to take a closer look at the plant in Denklingen. The event attracted many families. There was the opportunity to take a tour through the production halls, to have fun in the children's adventure area or to enjoy food and beverages in a pavilion from the catering firm Käfer.

During the company tour, the visitors had the chance to take a look behind the scenes and see how the large machines are operated. At each stage of the tour, it was possible to view the produced parts, and friendly Hirschvogel employees were happy to answer all kinds of questions on the production process. All the visitors - both young and old - were interested in the machines and finished parts.

Outside in front of the pavilion an attractive program awaited the visitors and was particularly well received by the children. They were able to climb into huge water walk balls to run across a sizeable paddling pool, scale an inflatable rock climbing tower, hop about on the moon bounce and have a go at goal wall shooting. Inside the carefully decorated Käfer catering pavilion, the visitors were treated to culinary delights. Traditional Bavarian dishes such as Leberkäse (a type of meatloaf) or half a roast chicken, among other things, were on the menu. Due to the summer temperatures, seats on the terrace area were highly sought after. Music entertainment was provided by the Hirschvogel Band and the Denklingen brass band. All in all, the Open Day was a complete success, as Head of Corporate Public Relations Claudia Bieberstein confirms: "We, too, were impressed."
