Lightweight pinion

Pinions are input or output shafts which are used if a 90 ° torque deflection is required (e.g. input shaft rear axle differential or output front axle PTU). A hollow design enables considerable weight savings without causing any significant reduction in performance. The pinion has an undercut inside the head, an even wall thickness in the shaft and an internal hexagonal contour at the base.
