Hub with Hirth gears

The hub is a torque-transmitting part in a hybridized automatic transmission. During development, one requirement was that torque transmission should take place with the shortest possible assembly path. Hirth gears are ideal in fulfilling this requirement. Hirschvogel produces this weight-saving, ready-for-assembly geometrical element with a short assembly path and in a cost-effective way exclusively by means of forging.
