On the Road to the Future with New Leadership at the Helm

The Hirschvogel Automotive Group is on a future-oriented path. The globally active, family-owned company with headquarters in Denklingen, Upper Bavaria, is currently in the midst of a transformation process that began early on. The goal thereof is to safeguard the long-term perspectives of the Group and thus of all its employees. The course has been set for an innovative, broad range of product and services that is geared to the market. Over the next decade, it will also be necessary for Hirschvogel to maximize its market potential and to consolidate the strengths within the company.

An important step along this path is the introduction of a new management organization. The shareholders of Hirschvogel Holding GmbH have therefore decided to bring forward the generational change at the top of the company, which would otherwise have taken place successively over the next two years. Together with an experienced management circle, the new Management Board will now be able to tackle the necessary transformation process without delay.

As of January 1, 2021, the business at Hirschvogel Holding GmbH will be managed by Walter Bauer in the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and by Dr. Dirk Landgrebe as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Both live in the region and already know the company from the inside.

During the first half of 2021, Hirschvogel shall welcome a third member to the Management Board, whose name cannot be published yet for contractual reasons. As CEO, he will take over the chairmanship of the new management trio.

Walter Bauer, 51, future CFO, has a background in the electronics and IT industry. He has been at Hirschvogel Holding GmbH for 14 years now, since 2011 as Vice President Corporate Finance.

Dr. Dirk Landgrebe, 54, future COO, held various management positions at Hirschvogel Holding GmbH from 1999 to 2014, and was most recently General Manager and Vice President Europe and Asia at a renowned, globally active automotive supplier.
