FIRST-HAND REPORTS
Sabrina Ahmon,
Hirschvogel Umformtechnik GmbH,
Auszubildende zur Werkzeugmechanikerin
Sabrina Ahmon
„During school vacations, I completed many periods of work experience and internships in various career areas. I experienced a taste of two careers at Hirschvogel. The apprentice training career to become a tool and die mechanic appealed to me the most - and this is what I am now learning. I particularly like the way the trainers interact with the apprentices. They are very patient and helpful, pass on a great deal of know-how, treat us with respect and allow us to work independently on the machines from a very early stage. Even the more experienced apprentices are very fair and help the younger ones out. Hirschvogel has provided employment to all its apprentices to date. I will be very happy to work at Hirschvogel after completing my apprenticeship.”
Matthias Keller,
Hirschvogel Umformtechnik GmbH,
Auszubildender zum Industriemechaniker
Matthias Keller
„A career as an industrial mechanic reflects my private interests, as prior to starting my apprenticeship, I enjoyed tinkering with mopeds belonging my friends and I. Now I am doing that on really big machines. I have already learned a lot during my apprenticeship at Hirschvogel. I particularly like working on the state-of-the-are turning and milling machines. The trainers are very helpful. If you are stuck and don’t know what to do, they are ready to help immediately and take time to explain things to you in detail. The working atmosphere between the apprentices, trainers and employees is very pleasant and friendly.”
